PG&E Magnatude® Load Test
Magnum recently completed PG&E Magnatude® Load Test. This test was to demonstrate the MG3 Magnatude® piles and small T-Line pole grillages. This test took place in San Francisco, CA for Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E). Grouted test piles were designed for small 110 kV T-Line lattice structure. It can support loads of 50 kip vertical. A compression test of the installed Magnatude® was also taken. This test reached 180 kips and exhibited only 0.06″ of total pile head deflection.
