Logan High School bleachers
Install 45 grouted helical piles for the foundation of new bleachers at Logan High School Football Field. The school and football field are located on a narrow island in the Guyandotte river known as Hatfield Island. Most of the soil was random fill, coal refuse, and slate. This was brought in many years before from local mining operations. Because of the poor soils, Kanti Patel at American Geotech called out for these piles to be the Magnatude Piles. The end bearing on the bedrock roughly 40′ below the top of pile.
