The Problem

A new Skyline Chili restaurant in West Chester, Ohio required a dependable deep foundation system to support structural loads while keeping construction on schedule. Challenging site conditions, combined with persistent rain, created the potential for delays and complicated installation—putting both timeline and efficiency at risk. The project demanded a solution that could be installed quickly, perform reliably, and adapt to real-world jobsite conditions without slowing progress.

The Solution

MAGNUM delivered a streamlined foundation system using 21 MAGNUM® Helical Piles, each equipped with 8", 10", and 12" helix plates to achieve the required capacity in varying soil conditions. Installed to an average depth of 30 feet, the piles supported working loads ranging from 18 to 30 kips, providing the strength and consistency needed for the new structure.

To complete the system, 21 MAGNUM® MHC1000-3B Grade Beam Caps were installed, creating a secure and efficient connection to the structure above. Despite ongoing rain, installation remained on track—completed in just two days—demonstrating the speed, adaptability, and reliability of MAGNUM foundation solutions.
