BerMac Controls hired Magnum Geo Solutions to design a concrete-less foundation system to support their 10Kw and 30Kw Wind Turbines. The installation crew used a 40,000ftlb ProDig torque motor to place 4 MH530 MAGNUM Helical Piles to a minimum of 8-foot depth. Installation of Helical Piles allowed for the elimination of all concrete in the foundation. Thus, the turbine was erected in just 3 Days. BerMac now uses helical piles on all their wind turbine projects.
