Description

Minimal steel erection experience required. These structural steel frames require no welding or hot rivets. Designed to resist hurricane wind loads, they are ideal for elevation of existing or new homes and commercial buildings in flood prone regions. No job is too small; they are perfect for high-end residential or commercial pool shelters, picnic shelters, and outdoor kitchen and living areas. They are galvanized for coastal exposure and a lifetime of service.
The Magnum MMA-AC## Moment Frame Angled Connector is a welded beam with end plates made of 3/8″ A36 plate steel. The Angled Connector connects to Magnum moment frame beams and columns to create a unique and interesting geometry for bay windows, angled decks, or non-square building geometries. The Angled Connector allows you to shift beam locations in order to avoid obstructions in the home, such a framing drops or stairwells.
Installation Notes:
Attach Angled Connector to Moment Frame Beam using four through bolts, nuts, and lock washers provided. Torque nuts to Moment Frame Beam standards. Hoist Beam and Angled Connector into place on Column ledges and brace temporarily. Attach to Column using four bolts, lock washers, and plate washers provided.
